The Institute of Applied and Computational Mathematics of FORTH has a considerable educational activity in the area of underwater acoustics, including the development of interactive educational software. A typical example is Ocean Sound Lab, an educational software environment for public aquaria and museum exhibitions, offering an enjoyable introduction to the fascinating world of underwater sound.
The Sea Ears project is contributing in this direction by developing an educational software application called D_Ear addressing the passive acoustic localization problem. This application will be included in the training program of the institute. You can try the application at this link Educational app D_Ear
